Collectors reacted strongly when the PSA grading scandal of 2026 broke  in December 2025. A Pokémon collector submitted around 30 identical  modern cards that mostly returned as PSA 9 grades. He accepted buyback  offers from PSA at PSA 9 values of about $35 each.
